Why work with Outliers
Experience. We have a deep working knowledge of the sector based on 12 years of experience. This includes running an after-school program for 8 years and building a collective of like-minded practitioners. Since 2014, we have facilitated investment of social capital to maximize impact in the sector. With your support, we will continue to mobilise millions of rands worth of training and resources to low-resourced community-based programs every year.
Trust. At the heart of how we work is listening with intent and acknowledging the complexities of the context in which people live. This, together with our ability to meet needs as they arise, builds trust and has made us the go-to service provider to support programs in the sector.
Alignment. When engaging with stakeholders, we spend time helping you figure out what you are passionate about to guide your investment in the sector. A financial partnership with Outliers enables us to conduit skills and goods to benefit both investor and beneficiary.

It was so good to feel involved in a worthwhile project! Well done to Outliers! Thank you so much for involving us in the community – even in these times of isolation.
Maureen Thompson, Milnerton Methodist Church
Outliers is doing the actual work of supporting learners where they are, which is not a simple task. It’s courageous and we, as a society, desperately need it.
Roger Saner, Outliers board member
